Racing Extinction

This is a paragraph on my thoughts on the documentary film Racing Extinction. The whole thing is about these people how busted a high end restaurant called Hump that was selling whale meat. The whole thing goes on about shark fins that are cut off while the shark is still alive and then sent back to the wild to suffer for the rest of their lives. Then there are "pharmacies" in China that buy Manta Ray gills and sell them as a cure for cancer ( because of course it's a cure for cancer, if bad medicine has to me one thing it's that everything either causes or cures cancer). But then near half way in do they finally talk about what will end up killing us all climate change. But if climate change raises the earth temperature by even 6 degrees it will be apocalyptic to all life on the planet ( see climate change series coming soon).

Now the movie points out the obvious, that these animals like Manta rays and Sharks are being hunted for profit. So I decided to give you somewhat of a look into this how this whole thing works by giving an example, the Sumatran Tiger. So even thought it is illegal in Indonesia to hunt them, put there is money to be made so what do we need from it. Well while I am sure the fur and meat on a Tiger is valuable, we will be talking about the their bones. So apparently you can make wine out of tiger bones and it's a big hit in China, because of course it was China the all ways seem to get caught up in this stuff. Another usage in for the bones is medicine ( it is always medicine) for any kind of pain, it basically treated like Tiger Ibuprofen. And it's eyes, whiskers, and teeth are use to cure malaria, insomnia, meningitis and a whole smorgasbord of whatever else ales yea. So now to help the world and not murder the economy, lets try to see if we can come up with a replacement. for the bone wine just make other kinds of non animal murderous wines, as for the medicine you could either sell sugar pills as them and it will probably have the same effect or you could sell Ibuprofen. So that is just so of many ways that you could replace the medication, the wine and whatever else you cam use a Tiger for.
