Floods

My house is a little risk for flooding unless Noah comes to town then I might want to take that flooding insurance offer  I just saw while researching this post. One good way to help with flooding is by planting trees whose strong roots will be able to keep the ground in good shape while all that water is falling from the sky. Or you could always floodplain map if you are really concerned about flooding and set up shop in some place with low-risk flooding. You could also make a drainage system so that water doesn't build up and flood ( though if you move all the excess water to another location you might flood that location, but let's just ignore that little thought).  I believe we have a drainage system but if we don't we should because it would allow us to move water away from urbanized areas to someplace that could handle it a lot better.
