War for Water

The war over water I will be talking about is a series of conflicts between Isreal,Jordan, and Syria. the war was waged between 1964 and 1967. The first "shots" of war was when Israel decided to build a water pipe that connected to the sea of Galilee. Then Syria decided to open fire on the construction site. That forced Isreal to move the pipes. The project was completed in 1964 and that ticked of the Arab states. So they tried to divert the Jordan river. Isreal decided that it infringed upon their rights. And that began the war. This could definitely happen again anywhere in the world because of how much of a hot commodity water is soon to become. And there will be another war fo water if we don't find out a way to get more water soon. And since most of the water we have is salt we need to purify that water and make it drinkable for there to be a way to prevent another war for water.
